The FY13 request for research proposals for the Michigan Grape & Wine Industry Council (MGWIC) commencing January 1, 2013 are now available. The RFP will be coordinated by AgBioResearch, formerly known as Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES). Included in the information are the requested proposal format, budget form, the Council’s research priorities and reporting requirements for FY13 funding. The Committee’s anticipated budget for 2013 awards is $100,000 -$150,000.
Each proposal should be no greater than five (5) pages in length, plus the budget page. Proposals are due no later than 5 p.m., on Monday August 8, 2012. A transmittal is required for each proposal being submitted. This will eliminate problems when funding awards are made. Transmittals should be submitted electronically with the proposal attached. If you were granted funds last year and wish to continue the project, you must reapply for FY13 funding
